Research boundary

This article explains concepts, interfaces, governance, and public research questions. It intentionally excludes private implementation details, personal information, operational secrets, and security-sensitive mechanisms. Organism language is architectural metaphor.

Eight formal layers

The current public model defines Genome, Brain, Memory, Word and Expression, Neurofabric, Immune, Body and Action, and Human Authority. Evidence and retrieval, evaluation and observability, and provenance and records operate across those layers as cross-cutting disciplines.

The value of the model is architectural. Each layer has a responsibility, interfaces with other layers, and can be evaluated independently while contributing to whole-system behavior.

A task as a signal moving through the organism

A user request can move through Human Authority for scope, Genome for boundary conditions, Brain for planning, Memory for continuity, Evidence for grounding, Immune for risk checks, Neurofabric for routing, Word and Expression for communication, Body and Action for controlled execution, and Provenance for records.

Real systems are iterative. New evidence may cause replanning. A safety check may require clarification. A human may revise scope halfway through. The architecture is best represented as a governed graph of signals and state transitions.

Designing for change

Models, retrievers, tool protocols, and security controls will change. HumaGenic AI™ focuses on enduring responsibilities: reason, remember, communicate, route, defend, act, record, and remain under human authority.
