Three different things
Prompt, PromptOps workflow, and Skill each solve a different problem.
Prompt
A direct instruction for a result. Strong prompts make the mission, context, constraints, and deliverable clear.
PromptOps workflow
A governed operating procedure for an AI system: evidence, phase gates, permissions, artifacts, verification, and handoff.
Reusable skill
A program behavior package with trigger conditions, required inputs, source rules, permissions, workflow, output contract, and positive/negative tests.
Publication gate
Public prompt and skill products earn trust through preparation.
Provenance and originality
External references may inform research, but commercial prompt text must be UVP-authored or substantially re-authored and rights-cleared.
Security and privacy
No secrets, private data, unsafe defaults, or unapproved client/company material.
Testing and verification
Positive, negative, edge, and platform-appropriate tests are recorded before a commercial release is marked Verified.
Truthful status
Every product is labeled Verified, Public Review, Beta, In Review, or Re-authoring according to evidence.
